Our Storied Island

Hilton Head Island’s history can be told through our historic sites, lectures, and classes but what makes us special is the real connection between places and people. The descendants of many of the families that made history in the past live here today. We have a unique opportunity to tell our story through the eyes of family – family members that will tell their family stories but also are telling the history of our Island, state, and nation. We are grateful that they are willing to share.
