Register of Civilian Patients at the Hilton Head Military Hospital

The military hospital on Hilton Head Island, located at Ft. Walker/Welles, treated civilians living on the island as well as the military personnel.  This file is a listing of the civilians that were treated from November 1866 to April 1868 and their place of residence on the island.  These are the people who were living on Hilton Head at the end of the Civil War, but before the military left the island.  

This file was transcribed from microfilm by Pre Moore, volunteer at the Heritage Library.  A second file is being completed that has names but no residences.
